The RFU today released the following statement: "RFU Championship club London Scottish have been deducted three competition points for fielding an unregistered player, Alexander Mackenzie, in the league fixture vs. Plymouth Albion on Friday 9 November. The player was on loan to Rosslyn Park and therefore not Effectively Registered with London Scottish."
We hope that all London Scottish supporters and stakeholders will appreciate that we will not be making a statement on the matter at this time and that we will comment after a hearing to appeal the points deduction has taken place next week.

I am hearing reports down here about Albion getting a £250 fine and a suspended 5 point deduction for a mass brawl. I presume that means any similar behaviour would result in a points loss this season. It may be worth bearing in mind on 26 January. (Only joking!)
