Well done Adam on winning the Player of the Season

I am sure someone from the MSA will post a proper tribute to Adam soon but just wanted to say well done Adam Caves on winning Player of the Season, well deserved for all the hard work you have put in over the season.

I completely agree.

Adam got my vote after I thought long and hard about who to go for. Other players have sparkled at various stages of the season but for consistency and 100% effort week in , week out, Adam fully deserved it. Whilst the team and individual performances have fluctuated at various times Adam's contribution has never been less than 1st class. Again yesterday both in the tight and the loose his performance was outstanding.

I often disagree with the Man of the Match, Month, Season choices but yesterday I agreed with everything!

Who was runner up? - just to see if I got 1st and 2nd right unlike my wager in yesterday’s National.

I (wrongly!) thought Adam had won it before .............but apparently not.

Interestingly - in 1986/7 it was won by Simon Robson , whose son had some games for the 1st team last (? I think) season. The winner 12 years ago had another good season for us, whilst the winners 7 and 6 years ago are also still playing their trade at Billesley!

Well done to Adam. A terrific clubman and another excellent season. I can't actually recall who I voted for but Caveman was certainly in my shortlist!

Well done Adam - thoroughly deserved. Apart from all the hard graft he's also got the knack of scoring vital tries. Anyone able to confirm how many he's scored this season?

As you say London Exile Adam has a knack of scoring the vital tries.

In the regular season he had a relatively quiet time for Adam scoring 1 try. He has more than made up for it in the playoffs with 3 (so far!). This adds to the 31 tries he has scored for the club prior to the start of the season.

Adam got my vote for his heart and desire and I have to say played relly well in the last 5 or 6 games. A great club man and has now set his heart on Stottys record, briiliant. I mean he does alot around the club and he was there on Saturday morning before the LS game with his family doing their tasks so a big thank you and well done "THE CAVEMAN"
