With the ball going out on the full, he turned and ran back to where it was kicked. He was clearly in some discomfort, holding what seemed to be his lower back, before doubling up then dropping to all fours in considerable pain. Treatment from the physios included oxygen. He managed to get to his feet just after the stretcher arrived.
As I said on another thread, he has been at a few games enjoying a bit of banter with the fans when appropriate. Presumably he does this on an unpaid basis; let's hope he recovers well.
