I suppose it is to be expected. Currently we are in the Top 25 clubs in England and have a ground that will most likely pass the Minimum Standards, so you have to think that we'd take a look at what the offer is.
I think a few teams will certainly Albion Rosslyn Park Chinnor Rams and Darlington will probably want a chance. It's worth looking into .But I guess it will be down to the Rfu to decide. Maybe use the simple method of top 4/5 .Or simply offer to clubs who have been in the championship before first refusal.
Have to hedge our bets I suppose but would we not be better off long term showing solidarity with the championship clubs over this matter rather than climbing into bed with the devil sorry rfu

It seems to me that the Premiership tell the RFU what they want with the latter meekly obliging and prepared to keep the 'money men' happy at the expense of looking after rugby as a whole. Unless there is a significant filtering down of RFU money through the league system I think the proposals are unlikely to succeed. Could we really compete with the likes of Ealing and Coventry? If it comes about, it will probably end up being two leagues in one and still an almighty gap to the Premiership.
When we were in the championship before we struggled latterly as nearly all other teams were fully professional and I believe we were semi professional.
