Adam Balding – Season update and Q&A - Thursday 2nd December

Director of Rugby Adam Balding will be holding a season update and Q&A session on Thursday 2nd December, in the clubhouse from 7-8pm.

Chicken & Chip Suppers will be available to purchase.

A very interesting forum. Absolutely applaud Adam for his openness in answering the questions raised. Only about 25 people were there which was disappointing.
There is an intention to have more of these Q&A sessions and I would encourage people to attend if possible.

Thought it looked a bit sparse from the picture the club put up on social media. 

I would love to attend something like this, but living over an hour away and working full time, I'd really need it to be 8-9 rather than 7-8 otherwise I won't get there. On the other hand, I realise that that makes it a late night for everyone else, so really I'm more reliant on decent write-ups of sessions like this, people asking the right questions, and gossip in the bar on matchdays.

I wonder if it would be worth asking folk to send their questions in to the club beforehand, e.g. Twitter, messageboard, email etc, and then passing these on to Adam in advance. He would obviously be under no obligation to answer any particular question. Hopefully the session could be recorded/edited/published so that we can, effectively, include all supporters interested in asking and hearing what he has to say regardless of their ability to get down to the club on a specific night.

At last nights forum Adam updated us on the position regarding on loan players. I took these photos of Adam Collingwood at Broad street RFC, also one of Jack Jolly. I thought they both had good games.

You have to applaud the Club and Adam for being so open. I doubt very much many clubs at this level, or any level, would organise such an event. What’s more I don’t see too many other Supporter’s Forums like the one we are accustomed to.

It's definitely a good thing, and a fairly regular happening at Cov (there was one this week at the BPA).
Sending in questions is also something done there, and works well for those unable to attend in person.

Adam mentioned a second loan signing from Hartpury. Apologies but I don't remember the name of the player - all I know is that he is a forward.

A second player is being looked at, not signed at the time We had the forum. As soon as signing confirmed we will announce

We are working on it. Hope to have something out in next few days, taking some editing as we have issues with background noise etc making some of it not usable unfortunately. Something we will learn from and for the next forum will address.
