Looking at the attendances as published in The Rugby Paper since the start of the season I struggle to understand how some clubs can be financially viable. We enjoy generally good crowds but, if correct, Tonbridge had 87 against Cinderford.

I suspect the 87 included some wealthy sponsors and/or a sugar daddy!
My local club in the lower half of Nat 2 south regularly get gates of 400-500+, have no 'big name stars' and still struggle to make ends meet. It would be interesting to see the reaction if the media prioritised its reporting of rugby matches on the basis of crowd attendances.

On that basis we can't expect many visiting supporters on Saturday next.
But, but, but ... there is no roundball competition at 3pm on Saturday. No Blues, Villa, Albion, Wolves or Coventry. The earliest home nation kick off is 5pm.
Drag your friends down to the Zapaygo Stadium and hope that both teams, especially Mose, put on a show!
Pity we have now set ourselves back a little with the two past results. I felt at the Chinnor match there was a good atmosphere to build on and towards higher attendances as the weeks go on. Now it'll be interesting to see if we can hold onto new, returners and regulars. One thing we know, there is no lack of encouraging pitch side side support on the Common!

Just the alickadoos, I expect. It's a long drive from Tonbridge. Look out for the blazers, they're very, er, noticeable ...
