Brilliant idea - is that actually the shirt, or an artists impression? "up the washed out purple and blacks" will take some getting used to....

If, on the other hand, that was the new shirt and it's actually red and black then I like it!

weird - it isn't on mine, but everything else that's supposed to be red on that poster is! Never mind, happy to be wrong! I do genuinely like the shirt by the way - have transferred money...

I'm seeing it as a deep pink rather than blood red. But if the shirt is red in real life then I'm fine with it.

The shirt will be red black with a narrow silver hoop as per the artists impression.This represents our ten years with CCC as kit supplier. The shirt will also be the first "Lions Origin Club " shirt.

I will ask the comms team to publish the design concept early next week .

The names will be sublimated within the shirt design probably in silver or light grey within a black hoop.

There will also be a member of other sublimated features representing aspects of our badge i.e. griffin , clam shell as well as aspects relating to Birmingham and its iconic buildings such as Selfridges and the new library. This also links back to the "Birmingham" part of our name and the support provided by Birmingham City Council , in particular Ian ward who is leader of the council and now sits on our board.

It should do all this whilst remaining true to the red and black traditional hoops.

There's an impressive amount of thought there - must confess I'd noticed the bits off our badge but not the Selfridges/Central Library connection.

Hoops that go all the way around are always welcome, I continue to hope that one day we'll go back to the red being narrower than the black but you can't have everything!

That’s correct. There are 16 characters available per name (including any spaces required)

Names 1&2 on the application refer to the fact that you can apply for a second name at the same time ( as in a couple etc) at a discounted amount.
