It's pretty monotonous being a Moseley supporter, same place same time, just a year on. I was very hopeful of the new regime, but sadly we will now be playing for Championship survival in pool C, one thing in our favor - we are becoming veterans at it. Was Maggs the right Appointment?
Yes. Look at how much more money has been put into Rotherham and compare London Scottish to Bees and it's obvious that we would have to do exceptionally well to be in 8th or above. I am confident that if we keep our heads the relegation pool should be winnable and as exciting as ever. Beware the heavy recruiters come January though... It's a long way back out of National 1 these days.

I agree entirely. We shouldn't be panicking. There is still along way to go and I think if we keep our heads we may even finish outside the play offs. I'm sure we too will have some recruiting budget as we have done previously. And as said above we are veterans of the playoff competition and we generally do well against teams that are much more our level. That said a win against Bristol and a draw against Pirates who knows, we could beat anybody.

Whilst there is no need to panic and Messrs Maggs and West are giving it their best, they do not have the same level of experience of the play-offs as Smithy did and who was the subject of some very unfair criticism in the past. Our current position just brings home to me what a difficult league this is and how well we do to survive within our comparitively limited budget. A win at home on Saturday followed by another at Esher next week would be a tremendous lift for the remainder of the season and 2 more points for the play-offs.
