I am staying at my sisters this weekend and travelling down on the Friday . I am walking to the ground from her flat, however for those of you travelling down on the day there is a £5 charge for parking at the ground . I have no idea about parking around the ground but being London I doubt it will be great. I went for the option to buy my ticket on line it is £10.00 this way or £12.00 on the day , however the saving is next to nothing as you get charged £1.74 for each ticket. The only benefit is you don't have to queue with a ticket purchased on line apparently. Save journey and see you there.
Parking at the ground looks to be very limited if Google Earth is to be believed.
Anyway, I'll be going to lunch with my brother in Teddington and then getting the bus there and back. There don't appear to be any pedestrian gates on Upper Richmond Road or Roehampton Lane, does this mean the only entrance is off Priory Lane?
CJB1 According to their website entrance is on Priory Lane. It also gives you details of which buses get you to the ground.
I saw that. Maybe I was confused by the "Rosslyn Park RFC" bus stops on Roehampton Lane which are nowhere near the ground entrance! (Having driven past them recently, I can confirm that they are named that way on the street).
The way I read it, the ground is up a long and narrow drive off Priory Lane, too narrow for coaches. The Roehampton Club borders the rugby club on the south side.
I went a few years ago and there was a pedestrian entrance on the South Circular (Upper Richmond Road), near to the club house. Not sure if it is still there.
