Good things and bad things about yesterday. Good thing- the EXCELLENT pork rolls Bad thing- having to wait nearly 45 minutes for breakfast in the clubhouse at the England match- very nice when it did come though Good thing- the way the lads didnt give up yesterday- sure the team will 'click' Bad thing- the ridiculous comments from a bunch of 'supporters' on the hill at the end- shouting 'disgrace' is not helping anyone. Made me wonder if they had ever picked up a rugby in anger- get behind the team- we are not a soccer crowd
Was at game yesterday and didn't think it was much better than London Scottish. Scrum. especially front row. is a real mess - needs sorting out ASAP. Thought wag played OK and Chevvy looks half decent if only half fit. As for people shouting things out everybody is entitled to an opinion, after all they pay to get in every week and have done for years. Don't wont to tempt fate but 2 years ago Cov, last year Bees this year !!!!!!!!!!!!!
Rantford, I agree with your sentiments that those who pay have a right to vocalise their thoughts. I was unlucky enough to watch Rotherham play Esher yesterday, and both sides were dire and I mean dire, the Moseley side that didn't turn up for the first half last week would have comfortably put 30 points on them both. I think we will be in the bottom 4 again, it's pretty much a money thing as all the previous years in the championship have been, but we won't go down that's for sure, we are seasoned pros at relegation play offs! The division is as everyone knows cut into 2 segments, those that have backers or gate numbers and those that don't, and we fall shamefully at the bottom of the last pile, but our squad is far better than some. Kevin's problem is evident and he has already publicly outlined it, the money available doesn't enable strength in depth, and I will be controversial and I don't mean it in any vindictive way as Billesley Common is far better than the University, but it's not a pleasant ground, even the proposed development would be pitifully wasted funds. We'll have a purple patch next month I believe looking at the fixture, to make us all a happier lot!
