Just wanted to say hi to everyone here. Im ashamed to admit it but i am a complete noobie to live rugby! having been a professional musician for most of my life, i have never had the time before to devote to my biggest passion in life (outside of music) this beautiful game of rugby! However, since im not touring like i used to, and finding i have my weekends free again, i can at last start attending the matches and getting involved in this wonderful club. I have missed the first 2 games as i was away but my first ever live rugby match will be the b&I cup game next Wednesday. Ive never been to the ground so havent got a clue where ill be watching the game from or anything like that but i absolutely cant wait for the match. Ive followed the sport all my life on TV and finally i get to go to a live game. Ive also followed Moseley all that time too. My good friend who i grew up with Neil Martin played for the club some years ago which is when i became a fan. Im really looking forward to my weekends from here on in and im sure ill be making new friends and having a really great time in the process. All the best to everyone and lets hope we have a brilliant season.

I thought it was David who was coming along then as we could do with his money, you must be Steve his brother? Welcome to a fantastic club, I unfortunately cannot make the Cup match but will be at the next home match.
Hi Noobie Steve. I have no idea at all what a complete noobie is or even a part noobie but if the same definition can be applied in some form or other to a someone who knows bugger all about computers then I'm complete noobie too.
However, noting that you have a bent for music may I say on behalf of all our loyal supporters "Welcome to our world" as Jim Reeves once sang, "Climb every mountain ( steps in the main stand ) watch as we do it "My way" ( Moseley way ) and make a FFF great noise noise in support of the team at every opportunity.
When you come to the Plymouth game on the 21st KO 7.30 PPP ay your dues at the gate , don't Mendelssohn about as you make your way sharply to the main bar. Rest a while and recover. Then make a note of the pitch, as you andante to your seat ( don't flatten anyones toes on the way in, naturaly ) before tuning your ear - around middle C - to the atmosphere in the main stand.
Once there, Stainer where you are and listen out for the "Moseley Pavaroti". You will hear him perform his aria at some point - just wait for the conductors nod - a try - and when he has done join The Pavoritos Moseley Support Choir. Once you have mastered that sequence of events then music will never be the same again and you will become, well and truly a Moseley supporter.
Welcome to The Club! Good to see that you're a friend of Neil Martin. I see that he is not a member of the Moseley Players Association (Past & Present Players of Moseley) and, as a former Club Captain, he really should be! Perhaps you can help us to get in touch with him.
I'm Peter Veitch and I'll be at the B&I Cup game, so hope to meet you. Some time during the match, pop in to Hospitality Box No. 6 and make yourself known. If I'm not there for any reason, perhaps you would leave your contact details.
well firstly, Philhall what a post! what can i say but thank you for an awsome welcome! Lets just say im not a noobie to the sport, just to attending live games which i can t wait to do.
Secondly, Peter, i will definitely pop into the box on Wednesday and again, Thank you for your welcome.
