Camp Hill 30 Moseley Oak 32

Moseley made a poor start and within 10 minutes were 10-0 down after Camp Hill's backs had crafted 2 very good tries.

Starting to improve their defensive line speed, Moseley Oak came back into the game via a try from an excellent lint out drive.

Camp Hill went further ahead after turning over Moseley possession ad scoring another pacy try.
Moseley again rallied and sustained pressure saw Simon Homer put Mike Maguire over on the right.

The first half finished with some missed tackles resulting in a converted try and a Camp Hill lead of 22-10.

After 10 minutes of the second half Moseley pressure paid off with Jack Fairhurst dummying his way over, however, Camp Hill moved further ahead to 27-15 with 20 minutes left.

With 15 minutes to go Tom Love went over from close range. 5 minutes later saw Dan Lavander steal the ball and power over. This impressive recovery brought the scores level at 27-27!,

Camp Hill converted a penalty to take the lead 30-27 and with the last play of the game Moseley Oak scored the winning try via Dan Toth.

A welcome win which looked unlikely at 22-10 down yet Moseley never gave up and finished the stronger against an inventive opposition.

The league season starts next week away at Ludlow-the challenge begins.
