A couple of wins may drag Plymouth, LS or Roth back in to the fray.....but at the moment the remaining fixtures for the bottom quarter are (in date order - ie the last on each list if the final game of the season):
Mose - 21 points Moseley Vs. Bristol Rugby Newcastle Falcons Vs. Moseley Moseley Vs. Doncaster Knights Cornish Pirates Vs. Moseley Moseley Vs. Leeds Carnegie Moseley Vs. London Scottish Rotherham Titans Vs. Moseley Moseley Vs. Bedford Blues
Jersey - 19 Points Bedford Blues Vs. Jersey Jersey Vs. Nottingham London Scottish Vs. Jersey Plymouth Albion Vs. Jersey Jersey Vs. Bristol Rugby Newcastle Falcons Vs. Jersey Jersey Vs. Doncaster Knights Cornish Pirates Vs. Jersey
Doncaster – 14 Points Cornish Pirates Vs. Doncaster Knights Doncaster Knights Vs. Leeds Carnegie Moseley Vs. Doncaster Knights Doncaster Knights Vs. Rotherham Titans Bedford Blues Vs. Good work Observer. We have more home games than our rivals and I think we are capable of winning 4-5 of the remaining fixtures. Newcastle away is probably the only game where a losing bonus may be beyond us - but LS proved that it can be done. As a Villa fan, I can't bear the thought of two relegations!
The away games against Newcastle and Pirates we should budget for 0 points, so anything we get from them is nice. Rotherham away will also be tough, but a LBP might be do-able. Bedford, even at the Common will be very difficult. One BP maybe? Probably the same for Leeds. We ought to beat Doncaster, hopefully with a bonus, and should be able to do Scottish as well. I'd like to think we can repeat the trick against Bristol, though hoping for a TBP might be too optimistic.
Overall, I can see us getting between 10 and 16 points from the remaining matches. Am I being too pessimistic?
No CJB1. It is called onwards and upwards. If you're climbing a ladder to look down is fatal. When I climb a ladder I always look up till I get to wherever I am going.
And if that ladder happens to be in a nylon stocking suspended on a lovely, long, slim leg - preferably a female leg - with a delicate blush of pink silk at the top, then all the more reason to look up rather than down. And even if you don't get to the top you can still enjoy the view "en route", as it were. As the SAS say. Who Dares Wins.
I'm not too old yet to Dare and I Dare Moseley to win. Will others join me, or am I alone with my thoughts?
