In the absence of a match at Moseley i thought I would venture further afield and sample the delights of Bromsgrove Rugby Club - to which I had not been before. An excellent YouTube video on their web site actually 'drives you' from the M5 to their ground (what a great idea).
I arrived about 2.30. Very friendly gate men welcomed me to the ground told me where to park and wished me an enjoyable day! How nice. £7 to watch the game. £3 to park the car. Programme (a good one) included in the price. Very nice clubhouse and surrounds. I don't drink beer so I can't comment on that!
I know it's 2 divisions below us so obviously the standard was not as good but nonetheless it was a Thoroughly entertaining match against Caldy. I think Caldy had the flyhalf who played for us briefly a couple of seasons ago (Richard something) but as a 'scouting' visit I'm not sure I saw any potential stars that we could use.
All in all a really nice club and a visit I would recommend to anyone if Moseley are without fixtures.
