Best to go clockwise, use the M11 and head through the Blackwall tunnel.

Glad to see Sam back but would play him on the wing as Dan has been a stand out performer at 15.
No Ben Morris - assume the injury he sustained against Cinderford will keep him out of the squad for a few games.

We're obviously going for heft in the pack, with three props in the front row, and three second rows at 4-5-7. Sam has played at flanker in the past, but only one specialist back row is perhaps a concern.

Still, the backs look tasty so I hope that pack can give them the room to expand. Weather forecast is for a dry afternoon in Kidbrooke.

McNulty got a yellow, touch judge wanted more but referee held firm with just a yellow card. I’m sure it was the referee that we had the bother with vs DMP !? Easy trip down to Blackheath, no traffic issues. Tough day at the office. Blackheath didn’t have to work too hard for their tries. Mose tackling not great, line out ropey and it was one of those days where nothing went well. We really missed Ben Morris. Backline was a frantic. Need to win next week now. Rosslyn Park have Sale at home, who are much improved.

Discipline let us down again with too many penalties. After a great performance last week our line out was poor. Defence was not solid with players falling off tackles. Blackheath are a competent side but not great. They, however, found it too easy, at times, to literally waltz through our defence. Injuries and a suspension have clearly impacted our performance. I am concerned that we don’t have enough strength in depth in the squad. This is something to consider for next season.
The passion and commitment shown by the lads were beyond doubt. We have shown that we fully deserve our place at the top end of the table. If we can eliminate the poor discipline, tighten up the line out and return to the solid defence shown in previous games we can get back to winning ways next Saturday against Plymouth.

I'm trying to shut out 'yesterday at the office' as one of those days and hopefully it will the last one of those days preferably for ever - unrealistic - but certainly this season.

Moseley must now re-gather their thoughts and spirits and lift their eyes to the horison because the lads now have what must be the toughest ever end of season fixtures against the top 3 teams in the league, plus, next week, the team immediately beneath them, Plymouth.

It is some comfort to know that of those 4 matches, 3 of them, starting with Plymouth next week, are at home so there will be plenty of opportunity for all us supporters to shout ourselves hoarse between now and next season.

It was great to tick off another rugby ground on Saturday. Chatting to some of the Blackheath fans, they've had a frustrating season, beating the likes of Chinnor and us with good performances but then losing the next week to one of the teams lower down the table. They're a formidable outfit at home it seems, so although it was disappointing that we didn't turn up, it's a tough ask to get anything away at "Club". The Plymouth game is pivotal I think, their pack is probably one of the strongest, aside from ours so it will no doubt be a tight contest, but one that we can win for sure. Fingers crossed that Ben Morris has recovered.

Looking at the highlights defensively we were standing off tackles all over the place which is unusual for us obviously missing key players didn't help. Plymouth at home doesn't fill me with much confidence if we play like that again.

It may not have affected the result, and I thought it at the time watching it live, but at 29-12 and camped on their line, there should have been a yellow card for Blackheath - 2 instances where their players not rolling away, referee let's it go and it ends up with a "held up". When those decisions aren't going for you, along with a lacklustre performance in general, it was never going to be our day.
