Can't make tomorrows match to watch the Moseley lads - and I have no doubt that Plymouth will be smarting after losing last week- but Pam and I will be rooting for you all.

Moseley lose by one point at Plymouth today so just 1 losing bonus pont. The score, with 3 tries for Moseley was 7 - 18 at half time but yet another Moseley 2nd half yellow cost Moseley 12 points and ultimately the win. So sad. So very, very sad.
Albion had red card We were down to 14 towards end (yellow). Uncontested scrums applied. Two long distance Mose pens just short in later 2nd half. (Mose 3 tries) Tough game result. Long trip home and already ready for next week!!
Gutted ! Another one that got away. Some brilliant rugby in the first half and a deserved lead and could have been more. Second half backs to the wall, great defence, red card for Plymouth, Yellow for Mose, uncontested scrums and the worst decision I’ve seen for a good while. Plymouth ran it in from their own half but twice the player was tackled, got up and carried on ! Nothing doing from the ref but tackling not great after that. Kick to win it just went wide. Decent point but could easily have been 4 or 5, shows how far they’ve come. Long drive home now.
Our last kick pen just short! 1 point instead of 4 points - thats not so bad, I'd say. Albion knew they have had a tough game today. One other thing. We are learning how to keep the opposition try total down. Thats always good in a developing team.
Looks like we had a strong first half but let them back in with a couple of tries late on - then couldn't quite clinch it right at the end. Still, we go again next week against Richmond, who seem to have had a torrid time at Chinnor, going down 55 - 26 - and will be smarting from that. Come on Mose - back to winning ways, with home advantage telling next week!

Second half couldn’t get out of our half and despite decent defence and Plymouth down to 14, they scored from a weird bit of play, we kicked, it was touched and deflected to their backs, who took advantage and scored. The winning try…even the Plymouth fans near me couldn’t believe it was given, clearly held in the tackle…twice but referee ignored it. That said, two chances to win it with penalties, one bizarrely kicked to the corner and the last one just went wide. We can beat anyone in this league.
Were the conditions poor for kicking? It's not like Tighe to miss so many.
Pretty heavy pitch, cut up a lot. To be fair the 3 conversions were right on the touchline and the penalty was on halfway, so not easy. The last kick Tighe was off so Rob Knox took it I think.
Small margins twix win or lose. All to often it comes down to missed goal kicks - at least 3 missed by Moseley yesterday, according to the Plymouth twitter.
I very rarely see any attempts at drop kicks from championship clubs, particularly towards the end of a close game when na unexpected drop kick can with the spoils.

We had three tries. Kicking to the corner was presumably intended to get the try BP. Perhaps securing the win should have been first priority, but it's a judgment call on the pitch.
