Firstly I really enjoyed the game yesterday and I have to say 2 fantastic tries by mose in the game even the Roth fans were applauding them but as is the case in so many matches we lost it in the first half but credit to the boys for coming within 2 points and at which point I thought we would win. A big thank you to the Males ,Neil and all involved at MSA for the coach yesterday ,at £2 what a bargain, and a mention to the Roth fans who had a presentation for Kevin Maggs brilliant .
I agree with evertyhing you say bunji. A great day out, apart from not winning, but the lads are getting it together and if we can be a bit better in defence we should be OK in the play-offs. Thanks to Neil and the MSA for organising the coach. The fans who travelled independently could have saved a bit of money if they had come with us.
Gutted to hear about your coach deal - spent about £50 on petrol for the round trip from Kings Heath to Clifton Lane - maybe next season as I have no doubt Mose will still be in the Championship
travelling to Mose from sutton coldfield then back to roth wasn't on, so it was the car for the 4 of us. southern fixtures at that price will be very tempting in future though.
good performance, as others have commented, better defence and first half improvement will bring the results in ensuing weeks.
great support for the moseley travelling faithful. c'mon you mose.
BTW were we being fed BS or was the Roth gatemans story of a pheasant strike on the team bus windscreen true?
totally true, this was the reason we were given for the KO being delayed an hour, alleged bird strike on the Mose XV coach? sorry but I can't believe it. can someone verify please?
no mention of frozen pitch causing the delay, we called Roth at 9.30am to check if game on prior to leaving Sutton, but no reply.

Hi Rob,
Yes – a pheasant smacked the front window of the players' coach hard enough to crack the windscreen. A replacement coach had to be called (and arrived within 30 mins apparently) to get the players to the ground.
As far as I know this hold up was the first cause of a delay to kick off.....subsequently I suspect some frozen areas meant 2pm was the most sensible all around.
No update on whose boot the unlucky pheasant ended up in though............

The delay was announced by Roth by 10.15, so by my reckoning the pheasant in question must have been a Brummie. Are we sure it wasn't lobbed at the bus by a disgruntled Bees fan or somesuch?
Maybe it was the pheasant that was frozen, hence the confusion!
