Crowdfunding a QR scanner for the stand seating

Since the introduction of the ticket-less system there has been no scanner for the stand seating. Having gone to the trouble of downloading the app, converting the code to a size that can be read by the scanner (or lack of), I have had to revert to printing a paper copy of my season ticket. It kind of defeats the object of the exercise really.

If the club are struggling to finance a scanner for the stands can I suggest that we all club together and buy one. Trouble is no one that could actually do something about it ever reads these posts so I suppose we are stuck with it.

There is a scanner that was supplied for the stand so we don’t know why it’s not being used. We will look into it

Perhaps it the young kids on the stand security who - unlike some of us old pensioners - don't know to use a digital wotsit. Although I do struggle with some aspects of computers - the on switch and passwords for example - I might be able to show them what to do.

I did thanks, I don't know why I bothered to pay my £50.00. You could have got in by showing the back of a No 6 fag packet.

In all the games since the introduction of the ticketless system, there has been no QR scanner on the stand. Nice people there, but no scanner. Also, if people are smart and want to avoid any Steward, they can walk through underneath the stand and get in at the far end. There's never been anyone there to check anyone. I don't want the undercroft closed though, I use it myself to get to the far end of rhe stand.
