Following the drastically scaled down event due to Covid on Remembrance Sunday last year, we are back to normal on Sunday 14th November this year with the traditional service by the War Memorial.
We continue the long tradition of joint participation with Moseley Ashfield Cricket Club. Its President, Peter Haynes and BMRC President, Peter Hill will lay wreaths on behalf of the respective clubs. The short service will, once again, be taken by our local vicar, Revd. Debbie Collins, Vicar of Holy Cross Church, Billesley Common.
At the time of posting, we do not have one essential element of these services, a bugler! If anyone has any suggestions as to where I might find one, please post them as soon as possible.
Those attending should gather around the War Memorial from about 10.50 am in good time for Debbie to start the service just before 11.00 am.
After the service, a traditional English breakfast will be served in the Clubhouse, where the bar will be open. Advanced bookings are requested - for details, please see and/or download the poster attached. We ask those having breakfast to make a modest donation to BMRC of no less than £5.00 per person, to be collected during breakfast.
