I didn't expect a win but that's a big improvement on the home result so I'll take that as improvement - particularly after the way they hammered Coventry.

And as regards the Moseley twitter I did subscribe but have now have unsubscribed to it because it also connected me with Barrack Obama, Trump and all the other worldwide nobody's who have nothing else to do but promote themselves. The lads put in a good shift. Very blustery conditions with every kicker on both sides struggling to master it. Defence was solid enough. Their 1st try was a result of a very strong catch and drive. Forwards again put in a great stint in the scrum. Dominating it more and more as the game went on. For me being turned over on their try line right on half time killed us. Gave them a lift and us the opposite. Score that it's a different game. Would still like to see more from the forwards in attack instead of "1 out rugby". It's almost like we are trying to win an 'arm wrestle' with opposing packs. I'm sure there's more to our forwards then that. I maybe on my own here but I really think someone ,very soon ,will be on the end of a big score against our boys. A more 'settled' side ,especially in the forwards, is showing. But some nice weather I think we will give someone a licking.

They did try and play with a bit of width at DMP especially the 1st 40 but weather conditions since the turn of the year hasn't really warranted a wide game IMO. Thats why i think when we get a bit more dryer weather i think we will give someone a hammering.
I wish that "can we talk" pop up would stop "popping up" just like irritating "pop up" adverts. I have no intention of allowing adverts on my computer. I wouldn't mind too much if they were confined to the Moseley message board - but they are not. Those pesky, irritating "pop up" adverts "pop up" over my computer. I don't want them and I am not having them. Full stop.
As I ve said previously, the forwards look formidable. I understand quite a few players are on two year contracts, so hopefully there will be stability and continuity in the forwards, and the pack will be augmented with a couple of players who will improve the tem further. It says a lot that we are doing well as a pack without Brightwell and Le Roux who are stand out players at this level. Its in the backs where more major recruitment turnover is needed. I would think this would be Tim Molenaars last season, and apart from Dixon(at times) and Rob Lewis there is noone Id be desperate to keep in the backs. Hopefully with Coventry going up, I assume they ll be having another big recruitment drive which will mean some decent players leaving who may like to stay local. Next year represents a huge opportunity to go back up as Rotherham will be shambolic post relegation to N1. Fingers crossed for some decent backs arriving.
Yes bigdingle I think most will agree. We are playing to our strengths aka forwards. The problem here is that the backs have to be really sharp to take up opportunities which has not really been the case in a number of games. As the season progresses no doubt the coaches will be looking for this seasons signees to improve their game as they get used to the pace in this Division. We all know that Richard and co had a tremendous job to do in signing , what was it, 17 new signings pre-season so getting the right blend will always take time. Maggsy had a perpetual problem in all the close seasons he was here in losing players to Championship clubs and having to rebuild a mainly new squad for the following season.
There will always be those on this board with demands for changes at all levels of the Club if the results are not too fruitful. I, for one, don't go along with this soccer mentality.
We have to see if Covs spending will bring fruition for their Club. Let's hope so; if it works that can also act as an incentive for BMRFC.
Re next season (forward planning?!) I hope we can hold on to the promising members of the squad and I think playing together will only improve our game and sometimes the results too.
