'Rugby – A Midlands Story’ Screening after the Ealing game
‘Rugby – A Midlands Story’ is a short documentary film from Moseley based Iconic Productions. It charts the heritage of the sport in the region that invented it.
The 15 minute film features Rugby School, Moseley Rugby Club, Webb Ellis Rugby Museum and official Rugby World Cup host venue Aston Villa FC. It features rarely seen moving image archive of Moseley & England legend Sam Doble. Contributors include Moseley Head Coach Kevin Maggs, club historian Ewart Patrick and former Moseley and England internationals Jan Webster & Martin Cooper.
