Two tries from Duncan White plus a solo effort from Louis Stelling along with robust defence were enough to defeat a good Stourbridge side at Billesley Common.

Moseley started well and after only 2 minutes a strong lineout drive led to fast ball moving right and Louis Stelling's fast footwork put him over for a try that was converted.

Moseley Oak then wasted a number of clear chances with panic in the red zone.

Stourbridge rallied but strong Moseley defence prevailed.

Up the slope in the second half Moseley got the first score when a series of penalties led to a driving lineout, Duncan White touching down.

Stourbridge created pressure and Moseley conceded two yellow cards. The first led to a converted Stourbridge penalty followed by a pushover try seeing the score line close to 12-10.

Ten tense minutes remained until a series of strong forward drives featuring Andy Ford ended in a fine Duncan White try.

Third at the half way stage with all to play for.
