Two more sign on at Moseley
Moseley Rugby Club is delighted to announce the signatures of a further two of their leading performers ahead of tomorrow’s televised fixture against the league leaders Bristol. Chris Brightwell and Scott Armstrong have given the players and supporters at Billesley Common a boost having committed to the Red and Blacks for the 2014/15 season.
Brightwell joined Moseley at the start of the 2013/14 season after playing in 18 tournaments for England 7s. The Kiwi has impressed at Billesley Common with his pace and ball handling. Chris has made 21 appearances for Moseley to date scoring four tries.
Armstrong joined Moseley from Northampton Saints at the start of the 2013/14 season having played two games on loan in 2012/13. The big winger has demonstrated his versatility by also playing at outside centre. Scott has made the most starting appearances (24) of any squad member this season scoring 4 tries
Great, smashing, super. Now let's work on getting Matt Williams and Simon Hunt to stay as well and then we have retained our current and increasingly effective three quarter set up. More to the point they would start next season as an established and effective unit - something we have not had for a very long time. Come on Moooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo.

However, Mr D Richards of Falcons has commented......there is a wealth of talent [in the Championship]........who can adapt to the Premiership.
He follows this up by signing Calum Green from Leeds and Pablo Socino from Titans (so he wont be in our hair next season - maybe)
I reckon its time for barrage ballons and defence systems in place on the Common to stop these Premiership raiders. Look out for spies over the next few weeks at Moseley!
Great news. Very happy. Chris has had a particularly good season with us so far and I feel we missed him when he was injured.
I am not just worried about premiership teams poaching our players - full time outfits in the championship will be looking too. I particularly do not like the idea of Worcester coming knocking. They are pretty much relegated (I hope) and I cannot wait to have a local derby again. Love the games with Cov - dislike the arrogance of Worcester.
Really thrilled with this news - I thought farmer Stevo had indicated he wasn't staying at Billesley & I voted Chris Brightwell in my top 2 for POTS. Well done Maggsy - one or two more retentions and all well be well.
