A hard fought encounter at Billesley Common saw a strong Bridgnorth team emerge winners.
 
Bridgnorth started strongly on a tacky pitch which had been worked on all morning to make it playable.

Early pressure led to a Bridgnoth penalty from 25 metres.

Moseley began to come to life and powerful forward drives from Dan Lavander and James Weaver led to Charley Thomas taking a great line and sidestepping past 3 defenders to score under the posts. Chris Carlin converted.

Bridgnorth rallied and their pressure led to a successful penalty attempt.

Bridgnorth's excellent running backs looked to have scored on the left but were stopped by a try saving tackle from Moseley captain, Jack Richards.

Again the game swung and Moseley pressure led to a further 2 Chris Carlin penalties, 13-6 at half time.

Early second half pressure saw Bridgnorth get a drop goal from 25 metres and 10 minutes later, a missed Moseley Tackle led to a precise Bridgnorth cross kick for their left wing to score wide on the left. He converted his try. 13-16

Two incidents of injury then occurred with the Bridgnorth hooker getting concussed and Dan Lavander, the Moseley No 8 suffering what looked like a severe knee ligament injury.

In attempting to win the game Moseley missed a key attacking line out then had a certain try stopped when Adam Billig was pulled back by his jersey when about to take a scoring pass. Unfortunately, the referee was unable to see this critical moment.
 
Moseley then knocked the ball on in their own half and the result was a third Bridgnorth try and a deserved victory.

Moseley Coach John White described them as the best team we have played this season and so they were.
