Tamworth 7 - 30 Moseley Oak
Moseley came through almost impossible weather conditions to record a bonus point win at Tamworth.
In dreadful hailstorms and chilling rain, the power of the Moseley Oak scrummage and the strength of their forward drive was enough to see them through against a committed Tamworth XV.
Tamworth opened the scoring with a good converted try after 6 minutes before Moseley hit back with a Scott Brown penalty and a converted Dan Toth try after sustained forward pressure.
After 33 minutes further Moseley pressure saw Tamworth run out of defenders while Jack Fairhurst went in.
The second half saw early scores from the excellent Ben Gerry and Antonio Solomon while the best was reserved for Dan Lavander who powered away from an attacking scrum after 63 minutes to seal the game.
