Moseley U19s will be opening the programme of events on the Sam Yarwood Memorial Day at Camp Hill RFC this coming Saturday (10th August). Sam was a young man of outstanding ability on the Rugby field, tragically killed in an accident in the Lake District a little over 2 years ago. In his all too short career he played at different times for 3 clubs. Namely Camp Hill (at junior and 1st team levels), Moseley (as a colt) and Bournemouth (at 1st team level)where he broke their try scoring record in his last season.
Moseley U19s are delighted to have been invited to take part in this celebration of Sam's life and to compete for the inaugural "Sam Yarwood Colts Memorial Trophy". The match kicks off at 11.30am and is the precursor to 3 adult-level matches featuring Camp Hill, Bournmouth and two invitation XV's comprising of players with whom shared the rugby field and a large number of his closest friends.
