I wonder which is Will Hafu's preferred/best position. Anyone remember him playing against Moseley ?

He's mainly an openside and has been brought in to replace Ben Pons. Sorry to see Ben go as I thought the competition between him and Olly Robinson brought out the best of them both.

I concur with studleyken. We still seem to be missing a top notch partner for Powell - or have I missed an update on that position. I know Lawrence can and will play there but he is not an out and out second row. Methinks that perhaps I should get my boots - or should I say platform shoes - out of the loft. Come on Moooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooose.

Any update on Hafu's return?

Will Hafu had to return to New Zealand in mid October as his visa had expired.  He has now learned that the authorities will not grant him a new visa to enable him to return to this country in the immediate future and therefore he has had to explore other options.

He has been able to secure a playing/coaching contract with CFOS Belenenses (Portugal) and I have released his registration to them.  

Will and I will be in regular contact and if his visa situation changes then we will see if we can negotiate a return to Billesley.
