I notice that Bristol have today recruited Ben Skirving the Bath back row player to add to 5 or 6 other current premiership players they have already signed for next season. Clearly they have enormous funds that have been made available and it will probably mean that next years championship becomes a 2 horse race between them and whoever gets relegated with the parachute payment.
I cannot decide whether this excites me or simply points out the need for the RFU to look again at the way the championship is funded in order to create a more level playing field (or am I simply dreaming again)?

They're stocking up to be in with a chance of a maiden victory on The Common next season.
