BIRMINGHAM MOSELEY RUGBY CLUB
MESSAGE FROM THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
18th March 2020
RFU Suspends All Rugby COVID-19.
In response to the news that the RFU is suspending all rugby activity in England (see the full release below), the Directors of the club are very clear that the priority at present is the health and welfare of supporters, players, coaches, staff, and all associated with the club.
Future fixtures
Birmingham Moseley Rugby will of course be following the guidelines which has resulted in the postponement of all matches and training. Supporters who have purchased tickets on line can apply to the club for a refund or they can be retained for use on the resumption of the fixtures.
Gym facility.
Following government guidance that gyms are “high risk” we have decided to close the gym until further notice. Players will be following their own training programme under the guidance of the club strength and conditioning coach.
Hospitality
The Reddings Suite remains open for future bookings. Customers who have functions booked over the next few weeks will be contacted by the club office, if for any reason we have been unable to make contact, please ring the office direct and speak to our Office Manager, James Preston.
Club Office
The club office will be open as usual, however, to protect the well being of our staff some will be working from home. In the first instance all contact should be made by phone on 0121 443 3631.
Bars
All bars will be closed until further notice.
Our staff are working hard to deal with the challenges we face, if you have any queries please contact us at info@moseleyrugby.co.uk or on the office number.
Birmingham Moseley Rugby will continue to monitor the situation with the health and safety of our members, players, visitors and staff as our priority.
Stay safe and take care of one another and we look forward to seeing you back at Billesley Common soon.
