It looks like the penultimate act before the drawbridge is finally pulled up. Never thought I'd type it, but the French seem to have a more sensible/fair-minded approach to funding clubs outside the top tier.
I think a suitable response would be for Championship clubs to refuse to play Saracens next season unless they have the same level of funding as the rest and no parachute payment. Then again, Saracens and funding rules, probably best just not to play them.
1. Will Saris still receive parachute money for their misdemeaners and relegation? If so, how much? If so, what was the use of the fines. Robbing Peter to pay Peter may not be quite apt here, but you know what I mean !!
2. Is there still doubt about Green King sponsoring Championship after this season?
