I don't feel it is altogether a case of 'bedding in' as you put it Owain. Learning new attacking and defensive moves can certainly be considered part and parcel of 'bedding in' - but catching a ball. Now that is stretching 'bedding in' to a completely new dimension.
There seems to be a real lack of knowledge and understanding from some supporters of what it takes to build a team from scratch...finger pointing isn't helpful and should be left to the people in charge...they're not blind nor stupid and I have no doubt things will improve with time...get behind the team when things are tough...
Wasn't there yesterday but have been informed the performance was horrific. Oh well, as disappointing as it is/was, we have to move on to thinking about Blackheath next weekend. Hopefully the DR players will be back. The team need to go back to basics and start grinding out results again, keep things simple and play the best players in their position.
Can I just ask where is Zac X...... ? I was told 4 weeks ago he was going to be back in a week or 2?
Any chance each week we could have a write up of who is out on loan please, who is injured, army duty etc? we have a massive squad excluding DR players. Would be nice to know where they are playing each week. I heard one or two who featured yesterday looked overweight and not match fit. From looking at the squad, a few of them have been at Oak on loan which is great but where are all of the others?

I think we need to have more penetration in backline, crisper flat passing and if possible cut out the yellow cards. Come on Mose....... See you Saturday.
Well how about we leave all the negativity behind now the dust has settled and get down to billesley on Saturday and cheer on the side and show them our support?
davt Mr Middlebrook gives an update on the injury front in each First XV home match programme. In Cambs. programme Andy tells us that
Sam Pointon still in rehab after shoulder injury
Tony Worthington near return after finger surgery
Jacques Le Roux out with hamstring
Pete Austin shoulder injury
While Zac Xio' is ready
All the more reason to buy a match day programme. Not only to be kept informed but having pages sponsored by advertisers. Most likely one of the most informative programmes in Championship and Nat 1

Sam Pointon continues in rehab after shoulder surgery. Tony Worthington is nearer a return following finger surgery. Jacques Le Roux picked up a hamstring injury at Plymouth game. Pete Austin has shoulder injury. Zac Xiourouppa still going through his rehab.
It is hard not to be negative beermonster when the same fault lines crop up every week.
Of course we all want to get behind the lads, that is without question, but when territorial advantage or, even worse, too many potential scoring chances go begging because someone has knocked on, it does hit a sore point. And when that sore point is bashed over and over again it can hurt like hell.
I can accept defeat; there is never any shame in defeat so long as that defeat is on the understanding that 'the better team' won the day. Of course occasionally the luck of the bounce, the playing condition or even poor refereeing can lead to 'the better team' losing, but that was certainly not the case on Saturday when playing conditions were near perfect.
So, with bags of cotton wool over all my sore points, I will as, beermonger suggests, get down to Billesley on Saturday, cheer on the lads and show them my support - as long as they give me something to cheer about.
Come on Mooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooose
Thanks for the updates on the injuries. I don't tend to buy a programme. Maybe a page in the programme about loan outs and their progress would be good too.
