County pair in England Counties Under-20s squad
North Midlands pair Ethan Priest and Sam Hollingsworth have been included in the England Counties Under-20s squad for the tour to Georgia from May 15 to 26.
Bromsgrove prop Priest and Birmingham Moseley fly-half Hollingsworth were selected after they helped the Midlands to beat the South West 22-11 during the England Counties Under-20s Divisional Festival in Derby over the weekend.
They are among even Midlands players named in the England squad for a tour that will include matches against Georgia Under-20s in Tiblisi on May 19 and 25.
A third North Midlands player, Birmingham University scrum-half Will Hardwick, has been named as a reserve for the tour. Hardwick, the son of former England, Coventry and London Irish prop Rob, also plays club rugby for Bournville.
Priest, Hollingsworth and Hardwick were among eight North Midlands players selected for the Midlands at the Divisional Festival having impressed on county duty earlier this year.
