This year the Birmingham Moseley RFC Charity Walk 2018 is on Saturday 23rd June.
Version 1 is from the clubhouse to the Bluebell pub at Earlswood and back (approx. 14 miles – should take around 4 hours plus refreshment breaks).
Version 2, we will transport you to the Bluebell and you then walk back to the club (approx. 7 miles – should take 2 hours plus stoppages).
It is slightly different this year (and less miles) but still for good causes.
We will walk from the Clubhouse in Billesley Common up to Yardley Wood Bus Garage and get on to the canal and then continue to the Bluebell pub (approx. 7 miles, should take around 2 hours). Once there you will see Mel who will give you a voucher/ticket for a free drink and burger for when you get back to the clubhouse.
Once you have collected your voucher feel free to walk back along the same route back to Billesley at your leisure, there are 2 “watering holes" on route – Earlswood Yacht Club, who are always very welcoming and the Drawbridge Pub.
Walking time should be around 4 hours in total there and back plus refreshment breaks, but please can we all be back for around 5pm for the BBQ etc.
We are aiming to set off from the clubhouse at 10-30-11am for the full walk. If you wish to do the shorter version, we will run you to the Bluebell at approx. 12.30-1pm. Hopefully then we can all walk back all together.
So that I can keep control of the numbers taking part, it is £5.00 to enter this year, but you can get your entrance fee back from your sponsorship money (if required). A flyer and a sponsorship form will be printed this week so please look out for them.
Please try and get as much sponsorship as possible, there will be forms behind the bar and as previously stated, please hand in all monies, with your sponsorship form to the club and we will arrange to make the presentations to the charities at hopefully our first home game next season.
Have a great day, thanks again to everyone who has helped and obviously to you the walkers for taking part.

You can leave with any of the following please, James Preston , Mike Caves, Tommo or myself. Obviously if you have already handed in, please ignore this message. Thanks again for a great day. Anyone for a repeat next year??
Hi Guys, Thanks again to all who participated. Please could I ask one last time if there is still money to be paid in, please can you either leave behind the bar or with James, Mike, Thommo or myself or can you bring to the Carmarthen game at Billesley on Saturday 18th August. Thank you
At the time of writing, we/YOU have raised over £2600.00, it would be great if we can push it up to £3000.00. I don’t have figures from BACL and the disabled guys but hopefully they will have done well also. We are aiming to make presentations on the pitch either at Cinderford game or Rotherham game .
