If you mean "the start of something big" as in a relaxation of the cap and an arms race at the top of the game that could send clubs to the wall, then maybe. Otherwise no, and I really don't think it's indicative of trouble at Wasps either.
He's literally complaining they're not allowed by the RFU to spend as much money on players as they would like....

So would not Dai be happier with the big 45?Don't like it but start of something big is......how many clubs will follow suit...bubbles bursting and all that.Unless some of the squads take a wage cut. Could I be cynical in thinking that CEO's and Club owners may well be happy for the cap to stay in what is becoming an increasing financial burden of running Premiership rugby.There may be an added burden of interest rates....a quarter of a % raise is not a lot on not a lot but on high loans is indeed a lot.
