A golf day in support of the Moseley Players Association is being held at Moseley Golf Club on Friday 23rd June.
The day will start with a light lunch in the clubhouse from 12-30 and there will be a shotgun start at 2-00pm.
There will be four players per team and prizes (for those with handicap certificates) for the best team score, Stableford with best three scores on each hole to count. There will also be prizes for nearest the pin on two holes and a competition to keep your ball on the green at the 6th.
Refreshments will be served on the 10th tee – Fladbury pies and either Pimms or Whisky Mac, depending on the weather and personal preference, also possibly by request and for a small fee, on other places around the course.
After the golf dinner will be served in the Golf clubhouse from about 7-30 and for those people not wanting to play golf but enjoying the company a charge of £20 will be made.
For all of the above – lunch, golf, refreshments, prizes and dinner – the cost per team of four is a bargain at only £250.00. Any (surplus) money generated will be given to the Players Association. There will be a few single places available at a cost of £62-50.
Several teams are already entered (and some even paid for) with those paying first being allocated tees nearest the clubhouse. Please pay sooner rather than later – it also makes my job much easier, not having to ‘Chase’ people!
If you interested in putting a team in, or playing as an individual, please contact me, preferably enclosing a cheque payable to me, James Morris-Adams, 117 Anderton Park Road, Moseley, Birmingham B13 9DQ or by email to james@sandmaster.com
For anyone who doesn’t/can’t play there are several admin jobs that will need doing so volunteers please!
It should be a great afternoon on a super course and in excellent company.
