I am sorry to say that it was another sizeable defeat.

Nice home game for me, not much travelling, we weren’t necessarily that outplayed throughout the game although looked incredibly lack lustre at times, we were out thought by a good side, we simply don’t seem to have a game plan, or if we do it’s not apparent. 6 losses on the bounce doesn’t bode well. The guys looked dejected to the point “what do we do”. Think there’s going to have to be some serious scratching of heads from the management as it ain’t working is it.

I'm afraid it was simply a case of just not being good enough, i thought Richmond played well within themselves but when you help them along the way with unforced errors and turnovers especially perhaps you don't need to push yourself.    

Our first possession of either half resulted in 14 points for them - the second half was all of 30 seconds old when they scored again totally killing the game.

Where are the tries coming from?   We huff and puff side to side but make no real progress until we cough it up, there is no penetration or pace in the middle and no danger.    More or less every back line we come up against now looks more dangerous ball in hand.

Pity the ref wasn't consistent, we don't seem to have much luck this season - Dawes yellow carded for a slap down, when they did the same thing 15 mins later we got a scrum!

On the plus side the forwards dug in and we had parity or even edged the tight in the second half and there was no lack of effort as always.

Odd atmosphere in the stand, felt most of the home support was barely interested, coming and going all game, conversations louder than cheering - credit to the Mose fans who made some kind of atmosphere.

Interesting game then next weekend against a very in-form Rams - down there we'd have beaten them if we'd had another 5 minutes but they seem have to got better and better and we're stagnant at best.

Anyone know how Ben Palmer is after getting carried off?

Rugby Paper gave attendance as 830,where they counting legs!

I shouldn’t think there were 500 there, I was speaking to a Richmond supporter at half time and he said it was poorest attendance he’d seen this season.

Totally agree, I moved after 10 minutes from where I was stood in front of the stand, couldn't stand all the non-rugby chat. Don't understand it, but each to their own I guess.

Handling errors in the Richmond 22 cost us good scoring opportunities, but the lads stuck at it and didn't give up all game.

Why did we lose on Saturday? We were slower than Mond, made too many handling errors, lost too many line-outs, and our discipline was poor at times. We had parity in the scrum. The ref did seem a bit one-eyed, but not to the extent of the defeat.

I hear that Pete Austin is out for a while with a broken arm. That is not good news at all, as our replacement hookers aren't as accurate. And Ben Palmer hobbled off on Saturday, so I hope that isn't too bad.

When do we get Tony Worthington back? Buster keeps having to play in the second row, and we really need him on the flank.
