Some Sean Fitzpatrick facts:
• A member of the 1987 inaugural Rugby World Cup winning team
• One of New Zealand’s most capped players and Captain 51 times
• Holds the world record for playing in 63 consecutive Test matches
• Played in 121 Internationals including 92 Tests of which 74 were won
• Led New Zealand to a series win over the British and Irish Lions in 1993
• Led All Blacks to a clean sweep in the first Tri-Nations tournament in 1996
• He was the first New Zealander to captain a Test series win in South Africa
• And named as Hooker in Rugby World magazine’s Team of the 20th Century
• He was honoured with the award of the New Zealand Order of Merit in 1997
