76 ticket vouchers are available to season ticket holders who would like to bring a friend or family member to one of our last games this season. They just have to ask Mary at the Collections box. (Limited to one each.)
The club knows only too well the problems it is facing from a supporter/ gate number perspective, but not being able to even get rid of free tickets is somewhat unbelievable. I am really worried, I’m not sure the club is sustainable with its facilities in Nat1 never mind Nat2. If I had a magic wand (as would all others her) I’d wave it, but I don’t. If, and I sincerely hope we do stay up, I can’t see next season being any different. The crux is We don’t have any money to invest into the squad. Sad days for a big city, with a big club.
Ale, for your information there are only 20 vouchers left out of the 76 that were spare so the take up over the past 2 home matches has been a success, thanks to all members who took advantage.
In fact we distributed over 700 vouchers to season ticket holders who took up the 4 ticket offer over the close season so to only have 100 unused is not bad going in my opinion.
Indeed, and there's also the possibility that those remaining might be remaining for a reason. I've used one of mine so far, but have always confidently expected to have used the lot by the end of the season. There's no point trying to get people hooked by bringing them to Billesley in Dec/Jan/Feb! You want them to be able to feel their fingers when they sign up for a season ticket....

Perhaps more baffling is the battle I had when renewing my season ticket to obtain the 4 vouchers. Even if the club was right in claiming my renewal was not received in time (it was posted weeks before the deadline) why would you p*ss off a long time supporter by denying them vouchers? Needless to say a renewal is unlikely next season. And yes, I have used all 4 vouchers.
