After a fantastic weekend of rugby- and a much needed win it got me thinking.......
What is going on with Adam 'Caveman' Caves? Why isn't he playing at the moment? I think it worked out to be about 10 min in the last 3 weeks!!!?? Does anyone else think this is a little odd?? We have a player with more CHAMPIONSHIP experience than the rest of the squad has Nat 1 and we are leaving him out in the cold? Surely he must have a bigger role to play in the club moving forward?
In what is a new young squad we need someone who knows what its like to be Moseley through and through playing and being involved as much as possible! I know he cant start and play 80 min each week but 10 min over 3 games??? I see and hear that sort of rhetoric from the coaching staff about being true 'Moseley men' but not even they know what its like to play 150, let alone 350+ games for the club!
I'm not sure, maybe I'm reading too much into it and their is a 'plan' but to me it seems that we are wasting a lot of experience and pushing one of our club greats out into the cold- Eddie Jones has his finishers after all!
My final thought of the day is that after 10 years there tends to be a testimonial- does anyone remember Adams? What if you play 15 years in a row?
I, as all of you want whats best for this club, and the only way the new bread will learn is from someone who has been there and done it, 10 min in 3 weeks isn't the way......
