MSA AGM - Friday 17th June @ 7.30pm

Notice is hereby given that the Moseley Supporters Association Annual General Meeting will be held in the clubhouse at 7.30 pm on Friday 17th June 2016.

All members are welcome to attend but only life and voting annual members shall be entitled to vote at the meeting.

Any member wishing to propose another member for service on the MSA committee needs to contact me and I will email or post them a nomination form which must be completed and returned to me by Saturday 11th June 2016. If there is more than one nomination for a committee post then a secret ballot will be held at the AGM. Forms will be distributed at the meeting.

Copies of the accounts for the year and last year's AGM minutes will be available at the meeting.
Can you please let me know if you will or will not be attending the AGM, so that we will have an idea of numbers.

Will the MSA remain just that, MSA, or are there plans, or even a dictate from the club directors, to change it to BMSA?

The MSA has no plans to change anything at the moment and we are under no pressure from the club to do so.

Its time to let the conspiracy theories go Phil, pre-season starts today and we all need to pull in the same direction for the good of the club.

Now then Phil. You set the bait "let conspiracy theories go", so here is my response. It's all right for you young uns not to believe conspiracy theories do not exist after all you are not old enough to know the quicksand like dangers of the unknown; the "conspiracy theory", the "hidden agenda", Hitler's hollow promises for peace, call them what you will.

Perhaps the biggest cons in recent ( 50 + years ) of UK history was when Ted Heath, in 1971 took the unilateral decision to commit the UK into the EEC - WITHOUT A SINGLE VOTE FROM THE PUBLIC - and without him informing the British public of his "Hidden Agenda", an agenda to work with the unelected bureaucrats of the EEC towards integrating Great Britain into a "Federal Europe".

I agree that we need to pull in the same direction for the good of the club and there is not a question of any doubt that I will "pull in the same direction for the good of the club" but the "conspiracy theory" will never go away but that does not mean that I and others with my views, do not take our "eye off the ball", as it were.

Just like the Ted Heath betrayal, which has come to roost now some 45 years later, history has a nasty habit of having a sting in it's tail. Ted Heath did not dare to put the question of joining the EEC to a public referendum because he knew he stood little chance of securing a yes vote. Similarly, the main board of Moseley Rugby Club did NOT put their decision to change the name of Moseley Rugby Club to a members referendum. Perhaps they had their doubts? There are those who know but for those who do not, time and history, will tell.

So, once again, as always, come on MOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOSE.

Phil I'm old enough to know and what I know is that the name change has been done in an effort to help the club. Whether it does or doesn't nothing we do now will change it. We just need to get on with our support. Nobody needs chant Birmingham or Brum it will still be "Moseley Moseley Moseley Moseley" Come on you Mooooose and Mose Fans.
