We’ve got a busy weekend coming up – a great weekend to come down to Billesley – and bring your friends!

Weekend of Sat 8th & Sun 9th ………..Saturday’s Itinerary

1. WORLD CUP BREAKFASTS - 8am
Come along and enjoy a full English breakfast while watching the game on the big screen.
Saturday 8th October
England v France QF, 8.30am

2. PIG ROAST & REAL ALE FESTIVAL – 12 noon
The Bournville Pig Roast Company will be preparing for a bumper day and along with the Real Ale Festival will be available from 12 noon. Along with our ‘regular’ the festival will feature Pedigree; Hobgoblin; Cumberland Ale; Brakspear Bitter; Ringwood Boondoggle and Jennings Laughing Gravy.

3. MOSELEY V LONDON WELSH– 3.00pm
The RFU Championship fixture kicks off at 3pm on the main pitch in parallel with Moseley Oak’s Midlands 2 fixture against Burntwood on The Common.

4. STEVE GIBBONS – 7.30pm
The evening festivities start around 7.30pm with the legendary Birmingham Rock Vocalist - Steve Gibbons. Tickets available at £7.50 from Bill on 07515 294312 or on the door.

2. JUNIOR FIXTURES – KICK OFF 11.00am
The Under 13s and the Under 15s are playing home fixtures against Willenhall, whilst the U14s and U16s are away at Willenhall. The Minis (Under 12s, 11s, 10s, 9s, 8s, 7s are all away at Walsall).

3. NORMAN’S (FRUIT & VEG & FLOWERS & ROASTS) AUCTION - 1pm

The highlight of the autumn season featuring Norman Johnsons amazing range of produce supplemented by speciality game and other farm sourced meats auctioned on behalf of the Mini & Junior section.

This tradition has been going for as long as anyone remembers and not only raises vital funds for our young teams but also provides bidders wit h high quality bargains. I you haven’t been before – make a point of coming!

It’s a great event and bids range from a few pounds upwards.

All the events take place in the clubhouse (apart from the matches on the common!).

PS – unless it has all gone, the real ale festival will be continuing featuring our ‘regular’ beers and special guests including Pedigree; Hobgoblin; Cumberland Ale; Brakspear Bitter; Ringwood Boondoggle and Jennings Laughing Gravy.
