I have nothing to say and no opinion on anything (which will be a surprise to those that know me) but all I wish to contribute is that I would have preferred it if people had used their real names on the new board. With one or two notable exceptions I see that people still prefer not to use their own names. I can't really understand this as my understanding was that the whole point of the new system was the ability to identify just who each poster really was! If people disagree with me that's fine - you know who I am and you can come up and tell me but how can I do the same to all those who use 'funny' names?
Problem with changing to real names is that common contributors e.g. standsitter and BillesleyNomad would become unkown, by keeping the alias we know who they are. I personally have no problem if people want to use real names or an alias - its upto the individual
I thought the problem was that people were posting inaccurate information under others names and by creating a new message board it allowed the administrator to identify who was making these postings. I believe this can take place, so a full ID disclosure is not required.
I have used my real name because I want to be known by my real name and thank you Chris Bertram for 'talking me through' the registration process. I have nowt to hide and never shall. The only other name I might be affectionatly refered to - althoough it is not a password name or anythiong - is 'Moseley Pavarotti' and I am perfectly happy with that. Come on Moooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooose.
My pleasure Phil, it just wouldn't have been the same without you. I use my initials here (and in other places) because they're easy to type, I'm not hiding from anyone.

Nothing to hide. The use of usernames other than one's given is the norm for internet forums. I always use the same moniker for rugby boards and where the facility exists make my real name visible in my profile. As this facility doe not exist on this forum and it seems to be an issue my name is Nic Ranford. Not that leaves many of you any the wiser. FWIW I think the option for anonymity is helpful given that.some may want to post on here who may feel unable to do so under there own name; players etc. just a thought
I also use the same name for posting on various sites. I originally stopped using my real name when I (and some other users) were subjected to personal attacks on another forum by someone with a particular agenda.
I would add that I feel quite safe posting on this board - and my real name is Kev Grady.
I use the same name on every forum I join be it to do with Music, Rugby or Politics, I have nothing to hide I'm the short fat Welsh skinhead that follows MOSELEY!!!! :-)
My nickname is Loublou because i've been called that since i was young. My name is Louise most already know who i am but for those that dont i'm the one in the noisy corner of the stand at home games cheering out lads on.
I use my nickname ( satnav) because to be honest i've never had one before. my name is Roger and i answer to both. What i tend not to answer to is it's your round.
